Sacrifice, And Friendship

How many lives were meant to be given up before a lesson is learned?
For all of those dead whose souls are burned.
No longer a part of this world and how we live
But they all used to be important and had special things to give
Mercutio: Courageous warrior who fought the Capulets' with pride and dignity
He never wished for anything other than his family and friends' prosperity
Tybalt: a man of revenge and hate
His actions were of use a little too late
Paris: who never did get to know the lover of his fiance
Instead, he attended a funeral on his wedding day.
Romeo: who's brave sword fought many battles for his lady
Who's father's acceptance teetered on a no or a maybe.
Juliet: Who's love for Romeo burned like the flames of the fire place
And who's lover did no more that simply caressed her face
Lady Montague: a heart stopped because of greif over her son.
Poor lady. All her life, she never did experience fun.
Many a life already so lost
So many, that these families are just now starting to understand the cost
However long, these people may see
That life is a love filled symphony.
So now they have given up all the enmity and hate.
But to bring all the dead back, it's just too late

Future

(Friar Lawrence's poem)

Nothing to gain
Nothing but pain
A life to take
Mistake after Mistake
A person who spends knowing its their last day
Will experience nothing but dismay
The writing etched into a soul
As hearts of my loved ones their their toll
And forever taken, Forever the Last
Forever breaking, Forever the Past
A day so fateful
A person so hateful
A shining star
A fight and a spar
Wishful thinking and hopeful dreaming
Fast wishing and thoughts streaming
Dreams and wishes seldom come true,
But it all depends on what you do

It feels Like

(Romeo's poem about how painful Juliet's death is to him)

It feels like its tearing through my skin
It feels like a burning from within
It feels like a smoking fire
It feels like a flaming desire
It feels like being broken apart
It feels like being abandoned
It feels like being stranded
It feels like being taken over by the ice
It feels like never again, will anything suffice
It feels like I am no longer me
It feels like who I am is a mystery
It feels like the flames of passion no longer burn
It feels like there is no more love, for which I yearn
It feels like a life being put to the test
It feels like a past night with no rest
It feels like your whole body being torn
It feels like hate's first step after being born
A feeling inside your heart, body, and soul that is so tight
That leaves you with no more strength to fight

Dead

(Paris's Poem to Juliet)

She's gone. She's dead. And now so am I
I tried to save her. I just had to try
Mow i'm all alone with no one next to my side
I wish she had just told me. I wish i was there when she had to decide.
By now, she lies there, in a pool of her own blood.
Her body so dirty, with what seems like mud
No one else to grieve for her. No one to mourn
So, for her alone, a grave is born
Her lifeless body screams for justice
She is the one person I'll truly miss
"So goodbye to you", were her last words to me
My only wish is to give her peace and let her be free.

He's Here

(Capulet's Poem)

He's here, He's here
Paris has come near
To take Juliet away to a better place
And with those noble hands, he shall caress my daughter's fave
We have lost one family member, and now gained another.
From now on, we shall all stay together.
He'll give her kindness and health
He'll give her happiness and wealth
He's here for her
Who's heart he will soon conquer
They will share love, and no more hate.
I shall get going, I'm getting quite late.

Scared (Out of My Mind)!!

(Juliet's Poem)

Panic! Screaming! I happen to be REALLY scared.
I wish this treacherous pain could be shared.
Pretending to my family that I am dead
While, to the grace, my body is fed.
What will happen to me, I do not now
I'll just have to believe in my beloved Romeo
God save me from any ill fate
And keep me from the wrath of fate
Who knows what shall happen to me in the near future,
I must keep myself alive and extremely pure.
Dear potion, Keep me from this marriage. Save me.
"Romeo! Romeo! Romeo! Here's drink. I drink to thee!"

Wedding Day!

(Capulet's Poem)

Ah, the joys of a daughter's wedding
All these preparations have gotten me sweating
And to think, that before, the ungrateful girl was refusing
Me and my lady thought THAT was very confusing
County Paris is a respectable and reputable man
He'll take care of my daughter, I know that he can.
For children to grandchildren, generation to generation.
While my heart fills with adoration.
Tomorrow is the day.
And "Goodbye", to my daughter, I shall say.
